Before you have a trawl through the countless doodles and sketches here in Kev Crossley Land (tm) I figured an intro news page might be a good idea, so here's what I've been up to recently!
Well, the annual Bristol Comic Expo has come and gone, and as usual it was a blast. Thanks to everyone who came over for a sketch or a chat, I had a great time on the Mam Tor tables and can't wait for next year! It was a great opportunity to meet up with my mates too: Watch out for Dave Kendal, Emily Hare, Emma Tooth, Carter Lee and Cardinal... watch these guys become HUGE over the next few years!
'Event Horizon', the anthology project published by Mam Tor has won the Sci-Fi-London Award for the Best Comic/Graphic Novel!!! Here's the wreath!!
..and here's the event website too! Sci-Fi London
I've been very lucky to have been involved in Event Horizon from it's rowdy conception in the 'Reckless Engineer' pub, (opposite Bristol train station) two years ago, and issue 3 is well on the way to completion as I type! Zombie Viking Elvis WILL return!
I'm currently working on a number of projects for various books and comics, from samurai fighting giant furry monsters to books about how to draw robots, cartoons and sci-fi vehicles, going freelance is certainly a varied and interesting thing to do!
...and that's it! If you might be interested in buying any of the work you see on the site, or if you fancy commissioning an original piece, feel free to drop me a line at bombjak69@hotmail.com! Be happy!
